Getting started
What does Radar actually do? +
It watches your server for the ways servers usually get wrecked and steps in on its own: a moderator's account gets stolen and starts deleting channels, a raid of fresh accounts floods in, someone drops a phishing link. It keeps working when your staff are asleep.
How do I set it up? +
Add Radar, then run /setup or open the dashboard. Pick a log channel and a staff role, turn on the modules you want, and you're covered. Nothing runs until you switch it on, so adding Radar never changes how your server behaves on its own.
Why does Radar need a high role? +
To ban an account that's deleting channels, Radar has to sit above that account in the role list. Drag the Radar role near the top when it joins, or it won't be able to act on people above it.
Modules and safety
Will it punish people by mistake? +
You set the limits, and you can run Anti-Nuke in dry-run mode to watch without acting while you tune it. Add your real admins and trusted bots to the whitelist so a genuine cleanup doesn't trip the alarm.
Does Radar read my members' messages? +
Only the modules you turn on read messages, and only for what they do (Automod checks against your filters, for example). Message contents aren't stored. The one exception is the global blacklist, which is off by default and shows a clear consent notice before it turns on.
What is the global blacklist? +
A shared list of doxxers and people who post sexual content involving minors. Servers turn it on themselves, and someone on the Radar team reviews every case before an account goes on it. When a listed account joins a server running the module, Radar posts an alert there with the reason and proof, and an admin decides whether to ban, allow, or watch them. Radar does not ban anyone on its own.
What is Safeguard? +
An optional module for communities with younger members. It screens joining members against Radar's flagged-account registry, which is reviewed and maintained centrally by Radar staff. On your server it's just a toggle.
Premium and billing
What do I get with Premium? +
Deeper controls and longer memory: per-module custom actions, alt-account detection, auto-roles, mass-role operations, a much longer audit window, and priority support.
How many servers does Premium cover? +
Every server you run. While your subscription is active there's no slot limit, so you can turn Premium on in as many servers as you like.
Can I cancel anytime? +
Yes. It's month to month, billed through Stripe, and you keep Premium until the period you've already paid for ends. Your card details never touch our servers.
Help
Something isn't working. Where do I go? +
The fastest help is the support server. If a command says you can't use it, you're usually missing the Discord permission it needs or you're not on the staff role. If Radar won't ban someone, its role is probably below them.
How do I report a bug or a security issue? +
Tell us in the support server or through the contact page. Please don't post a live exploit in public.
